14 de April, 2024Computer animation is the process of creating moving images using computer graphics. It involves generating sequences of images, known as frames, and displaying them rapidly in succession to create the illusion of motion.
Entertainment: Computer-generated imagery (CGI). Most used in movies, television shows, animated films and video games to create characters, environments, and visual effects.
Advertising and marketing: We use computer animation mostly in advertising campaigns and promotional videos to engage and captivate audiences. Animated characters and scenes can convey complex messages and emotions in a visually compelling manner.
Education and training: Animated videos and simulations are used in educational settings to explain concepts, demonstrate processes, and provide interactive learning experiences. Virtual simulations can simulate real-world scenarios for training purposes in fields such as medicine, engineering, and aviation.
Architecture and design: Designers and architects use animation to present their ideas to clients and stakeholders in a dynamic and immersive way. For example virtual tours, walkthroughs, and flythroughs of buildings and interior spaces.
Scientific visualization: Computer animation is employed in scientific research and visualization to depict complex phenomena, simulations, and data sets. Animated visualizations help scientists and researchers communicate their findings and insights to a broader audience.
Gaming: Real-time rendering technologies allow for dynamic and responsive animations in gameplay. It is creating characters, environments, and interactive elements.
